Forked Lives is an independent text-based browser life simulator in public beta. Begin with a random birthplace, make choices about school, work, family and relationships, then revisit saved turning points to explore another branch. Selected moments can be kept as a local life record; the web edition adds a small private memory walk for ended fictional lives. Friends may share a starting point and compare separate outcomes asynchronously. Free on phone or desktop browsers, with no required player account or download. The interface supports 15 languages, with some detailed text falling back to English. Recommended ages 15+: fictional illness, bereavement, conflict and simulated gambling without real-money wagering. Development is AI-assisted and some artwork is AI-generated. Outcomes are simplified fiction, not predictions.
